The music program at Holy Trinity far exceeds the guidelines set forth by the Maryland Department of Education. Any student who experiences the full spectrum of the music program from preschool through eighth grade can expect to be prepared to choose music as a vocation or avocation. Due to the strong foundation of our music program, many of our students pursue music as part of their extra-curricular activity.
Points of Pride
At Holy Trinity: An Episcopal School, students are given ample opportunities to excel in performing arts. We help our students grow in a setting separate from textbook instruction and we rejoice in celebrating the talent of each student. The School is committed to educating the whole child and feels that an education in the performing arts offers a rich learning environment.
Students in the High School Prep division have the opportunity to participate in drama productions each year. Parents and faculty actively support these productions, and the school administration funds professional equipment (lights, sound, and stage), as well as a technician to coach students in operations of lights and stage equipment. Dramas performed include: A Charlie Brown’s Christmas, Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, 101 Dalmatians, Alice in Wonderland, Aristocats, Beauty & the Beast, Cinderella, Little Mermaid, Annie, Godspell, and more!
