The Daisy Lane School Library

It is the goal of the library program to provide resources that will stimulate young people to be critical thinkers, to enjoy the sound of rich language, and to become life-long readers. The aim of the library curriculum is to help children feel at home in any library, and to be able to locate information in a variety of formats on whatever topic they seek. The Daisy Lane School library, which is searchable from home, consists of more than 1,000 books chosen especially for children ages three to six years old.  Children visit the library for weekly story time and book checkout. In the library, children are exposed to quality literature and picture books, and develop an appreciation for stories and storytelling.
