Kimberly Kruger

  • Graduated from HT in 2010.
  • She attended Archbishop Spalding High School
  • Graduated from University of Maryland (College Park) with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master’s of Professional Studies in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
  • Currently Kim works for a federal sub-contractor, M9 Solutions, that delivers professional services to the public sector such as software development, digital transformation, cloud migration / applications / infrastructure, cyber security, data delivery & analytics, and IT talent solutions. Kudos to her as she was recently promoted to Business Operations Associate and works cross functionally across many teams within the organization, primarily HR and Finance
  • Also works for various clients as an I/O Psychology Consultant on projects focusing on leadership training & development, performance measurement, employee motivation & total rewards systems, and, most notably, diversity & inclusion.
  • Kim is involved in a project to develop a free online textbook that re-envisions I/O psychology research and practice using anti-racist and anti-oppressive principles as a foundation and framework.

Emily Freeman

  • Graduated from Holy Trinity in 2010.
  • Attended Archbishop Spalding High School.
  • Graduated from Elon University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts: Acting, Bachelor of Arts in Arts Administration and a minor in Business Administration.
  • Has been with the Thin Air Theatre Company and Infinity Theatre Company.

Aaron Smoot

  • Graduated from HT in 2009
  • Attended DeMatha High School
  • Graduated from University of Maryland (College Park) with a B.A in Government and Politics.
  • Aaron spent time as a Playworks Program Coordinator (Americorps) and also was an instructional coach for the District of Columbia Public Schools.
  • Aaron is currently undertaking a Master’s degree from the University of Chicago (Master in Public Policy). He is also busy with doing Education Policy work for the Pritzker Pucker Family Foundation. #Hawkpride

Kenneth M’bale

  • Graduated from HT in 2012
  • Attended DeMatha High School
  • Graduated from UMBC with a double major, in Media and communications and Political Science, while minoring in Legal Studies.
  • Currently, he is attending the Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, California.

Nicholas Coleman

  • Graduated from HT in 2012. 
  • He attended St. John’s College High School where he continued playing the trumpet and began playing the tuba. Nicholas played varsity soccer all four years and excelled academically.  He was inducted into the National Honor Society and the National Spanish Honor Society.
  • Nicholas attended Coastal Carolina University (CCU) and graduated cum laude, majoring in Marine Science with a minor in Biology. During his undergraduate experience, Nicholas was awarded the CCU College of Science Fellowship and the Chesapeake Research Consortium C-Stream Fellowship, and interned at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center and the Virginia Institute of Marine Science.
  • Currently, Nicholas is pursuing a Master’s degree in Fisheries Conservation and Fish Ecology at the University of Maryland, College Park. 

Ileana Fenwick

  • Graduated from HT in 2012
  • Attended Bishop McNamara
  • Graduated from Hampton University with a degree in Marine Science.
  • She has been offered a full scholarship to UNC Chapel Hill for her Phd studies.

Olivia Fenwick

  • Graduated from HT in 2015

  • Attending Hampton University on Leadership Award and scholarship; majoring in Education.

Kristen Shannon

  • Graduated from Holy Trinity in 2007.
  • Attended Bishop McNamara High School,
  • Kristen chose American University for further studies, graduating with a major in International Studies and a minor in Public Administration & Policy.
  • Her career choice is in the field of International Relations. Currently she is working at IREX as a Program Officer for the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders.
  • When she was the Program Manager for the NEA Foundation’s Global Learning Fellowship, she co-authored and edited a book titled “Twelve Lessons to Open Classrooms and Minds to the World“, a collection of k-12 lesson plans aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development goals that is intended to provide tools for educators to prepare students to be engaged global citizens. 

Maya Jenkins

  • Graduated from HT in 2012.
  • Maya chose Bishop McNamara for her high school education.
  • Maya is finishing up her 5 year accounting program at Towson University.
  • She aspires to graduate with a Masters in Business Advisory Service.
  • Maya has interned with Ernst and Young, a global accounting leader and will be returning to the company for another year studying Tax in Financial Services.

Ashley Sharp

  • Graduated from HT in 2011.
  • She attended Bishop McNamara high school.
  • Ashley graduated from University of Maryland with a degree in Government and Politics.
  • Her career choice is being a Political Strategist & Entrepreneur. She was the 2018 Honoree of the Prince George’s “Forty Under 40” initiative for public service, Board Member of Wanda Durant “The Real MVP” Foundation, and a Member of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. 

Danielle Ocampo

  • Danielle Ocampo graduated from HT in 2011.
  • She attended Eleanor Roosevelt High School – Science & Tech Program
  • Danielle graduated from the University of Maryland with a major in Psychology and a minor in Asian American Studies / Human Development.
  • Currently, Danielle is working on her Masters at the Columbia University School of Social Work, focusing on Advanced Clinical Social Work, with a concentration in Health, Mental Health, & Disabilities. 

Markus Bradford

  • Markus Bradford graduated from Holy Trinity in 2007.
  • Markus attended St. John’s College High School where just like he was at Holy Trinity, Markus was an outstanding student.
  • He was offered a place at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and
  • He is now a Technology Consultant at Accenture. 

Leah Dawson

  • Leah Dawson graduated from Holy Trinity in 2015.
  • Leah chose Bishop McNamara for her high school education. She graduated from Bishop McNamara Suma Cum Laude and in the top 5% of her class.
  • Currently Leah is attending Howard University
  • She hopes to major in Theatre Arts with an Acting Concentration. 

Lerae Ettienne

  • Attended Holy Trinity as a kindergartener and graduated in 2008.
  • She began high school at St. John’s College High School and graduated from The Academy of the Holy Cross.
  • Lerae was a Division 1 basketball player for Sacred Heart University, while working towords a degree in Sports Management and Marketing. 
  • Lerae graduated with a J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law in May 2019.
  • She passed the July 2019 California Bar Exam and is now an Associate Attorney at Shernoff Bidart Echeverria in Beverly Hills, CA. 

Michael Dudinsky

  • Graduated from Holy Trinity in 2010.
  • Michael attended St. Anselm’s Abbey School for high school where he was busy with academics as well as extracurricular activities.
  • He attended Indiana University where he graduated with a double major in Accounting and Finance.
  • Michael currently works as an Associate Financial Analyst in the Leadership Development Program at Exelon

Gabriel Higgs

  • Gabriel Higgs graduated from HTS in 2010.
  • He attended DeMatha Catholic High School and was very successful there.
  • Gabriel went on to attend the College of Charleston and graduated in 2018, with a double major in Archaeology and History.
  • Currently, he is a graduate student doing a two-year research masters program in Archaeology and heritage management at The University of Amsterdam in The Netherlands.
  • He hopes to establish an international career in archaeology after the program ends.

Alex Wehrenberg

  • Enrolled at Holy Trinity at the kindergarten level and graduated in 2007.
  • He continued his high school education at Indian Creek School and went on to major in music and minored in Confllict Analysis and Dispute Resolution.
  • Alex furthered his education at Bloomsburg University and received a Master in Education in College Student Affairs.
  • Currently he works as a Residence  Director at The College of New Jersey.
  • He thanks Mr. Hollar as he continues to be active in music performance.
  • Other activities for Alex include being involved in his field as a Co-Chair of Annual Programs for MACUHO and the Director of Educational Programs with Rho Alpha Sigma.

Laila Breakbill

  • Graduated from Holy Trinity in 2015.
  • She attended Bishop McNamara High School
  • Laila is currently attending Louisiana State University. Laila hopes to major in Criminal Justice.
  • Laila credits Holy Trinity with preparing her to face challenging academics and cultivating a strong sense of responsibility.

Justin Ball

  • Graduated from Holy Trinity in 2015
  • Attended Gonzaga College High School
  • He was a Sousa Scholar at Gonzaga, excelled academically and played varsity football
  • Currently attending Vanderbilt University
  • Has aspirations to be an orthopedic surgeon

Margaret Banks

  • Margaret graduated from Holy Trinity in 2009.
  • She attended Bishop McNamara High School.
  • She has a B.A. degree, with a major in English, from Amherst College in 2017.
  • In 2018, she graduated from Stanford University’s Teacher Education Program with a Master in Education.
  • She is currently a 7th Grade Humanities teacher for Capital City Public Charter School in Washington, D.C.  She plans to enroll at Columbia University working on her PhD in English and Comparative Literature.  Her research interest is 20th Century Black female Bildungsroman.  

Jalen Barnes

  • Graduated from Holy Trinity in 2010.
  • He received his high school education from Maret School
  • He went on to attend East Carolina University, graduating in 2018 with a B.S. in Biology.
  • Following that, Jalen attended UNC Chapel Hill where he obtained his Paralegal Certificate.
  • Currently Jalen is a Real Estate Paralegal at Brownlee Whitlow & Praet, PLLC, while preparing and planning to attend law school. He aspires to get into environmental law to help make a push towards fixing climate change and global health issues. #Hawkpride

Sydney Tolliver

  • Graduated in 2015
  • Attended Severn High School where she played varsity basketball, won academic awards and represented the school at a National Diversity Conference
  • She will be attending North Carolina A & T, planning to major in environmental science/political science

Lauryn Collins

  • Graduated in 2013.
  • She attended St. John’s College High School where she played varsity lacrosse, was a member of the SJC Wind Ensemble, served as a Peer Minister.
  • Attends Spelman College majoring in Economics, with a minor in Spanish. She is a member of Alpha Lambda Delta has maintained a spot on the Dean’s List each semester. Lauryn has studied abroad at the London School of Economics and Political Science, has interned on Capitol Hill at the US Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Corporate Citizenship Center where she is a Next-Generation Scholar learning about the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship among minority communities. Following graduation, Lauryn plans to attend graduate school and aspires to pursue a career in corporate social responsibility to promote diversity in the workplace and strengthen the talent pipeline for underrepresented demographic groups.

Daniel Farley

  • Graduated in 2017.
  • He chose to attend DeMatha Catholic High School where he was an honors student, represented his school at the varsity level in swimming, soccer, rugby, and plays the trumpet in the Wind Ensemble band.
  • He is an Eagle Scout with a strong commitment to community service. Daniel organized and managed a shoe drive to collect new and gently used shoes for adults in the local community and children orphanages in Guyana South America. In collaboration with Souls4Souls, GuyKids and his Boy Scouts Troop, Daniel was able to collect and ship 500 pairs of shoes to people in need. Daniel also volunteers with the Catholic Charities group called St. Maria’s Meals to serve breakfast and dinner to people in Maryland who need meals.
  • In Fall 2019 Daniel will be attending University of Maryland Baltimore County to study Mechanical Engineering.

Alix Surber

  • Graduated 2002
  • Attended Archbishop Spalding High School.
  • Alix studied English at Salisbury University
  • She achieved a Masters in Teaching from University of Maryland as well as a Masters in Reading Specialty and is now
  • Alix is currently pursuing a doctorate in education.
  • Alix teaches 6th grade Language Arts and is a mentor to the HSP Student Council

Chelsea Tarver

  • Graduated from HT in 2009
  • Attended Bishop McNamara High School
  • After high school, she went to St. John’s University in Queens, NY and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2017 with a major in Elementary Education.
  • Chelsea received a Masters in Education from Bowie State University.
  • Chelsea currently teaches 5th grade Language Arts at Holy Trinity, is an advisor for the Blue & Gold Newspaper staff, and serves as the Assistant Camp Director of HT Summer Camp.

Ryan Knox

  • Graduated in 2015.
  • Attended Archbishop Spalding High School.  While at Archbishop Spalding, he participated in the Project Lead the Way Engineering Program, Robotics team, basketball, and tennis. 
  • He is attending the University of Maryland, where he will study Engineering through the A. James Clark School of Engineering. Ryan is part of the Park Scholars program.

Morrison Knox

  • Graduated Holy Trinity in 2013.
  • Attended Archbishop Spalding High School. While at Archbishop Spalding, he participated in the Project Lead the Way Engineering Program, Robotics team, baseball, and tennis.
  • Attends Cornell University, in Ithaca, NY where he currently studies engineering. 

 

Jamal Robinson

  • Graduated from Holy Trinity in 2010
  • Attended DeMatha High School
  • Jamal went to the University at Albany New York where studied Sociology and Criminal Justice
  • Currently, Jamal plays football with the Baltimore Brigade

Myles Hill

  • Graduated from Holy Trinity in 2010
  • He went to Bishop McNamara High School
  • IN 2018, Myles graduated from University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology
  • Currently working as an intern at Walter Reed National Naval Medical Center as a Prosthetic Limb Technician 

Taylor Fields

  • Graduated from Holy Trinity in 2013.
  • She attended Good Counsel High School where she excelled academically and in athletics.
  • Taylor is going to University of Delaware where she played Varsity Women’s Lacrosse team
  • She hopes to graduate in 2021 with a major in Computer Science and with a minor in Africana studies.
 

Christina  Johnson

  • Graduated from Holy Trinity in 2008.
  • Attended Bishop McNamara High School as a freshman before moving on to River Hill High School.
  • At Pepperdine University, Christina majored in International Studies.
  • Currently, she is a graduate student at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey studying for her MA in Public Administration. 

Sarah Haines

  • Graduated from Holy Trinity in 2009.
  •  After HT, Sarah attended Archbishop Spalding on a music scholarship.
  • Her passion for music (flute) fostered at HT by our band directors, encouraged her to major in music at UNC.
  • Sarah has a Masters in flute performance from the New England Conservatory.

Becky Hanson

  • Graduated from Holy Trinity in 2012.
  • Attended high school at Mesquite High School.
  • Went to Arizona State University, majoring in Business Entrepreneurship, minoring in Spanish, and receiving a certificate in International Business.
  • She is currently a certified personal trainer working at the university gym, with aspirations to secure a management internship.

Leatrice Bulls

  • Started at Holy Trinity in the Discovery class and graduated in 2012.
  • She chose Holton-Arms School for her high school experience.
  • Leatrice attended Harvard University, majoring in mechanical engineering with a minor in Computer Science.
  • She has successfully completed an internship as a mechanical engineer intern at SharkNinja and as a business technology analyst at Deloitte.

Daniel Lynch IV

  • Graduated from Holy Trinity in 2005
  • Attended DeMatha High School.
  • At the University of Maryland, Daniel majored in Rhetoric and Political Culture.
  • After UMD, Daniel attended Law School at the University of South Carolina and he is now practicing law as an Associate Attorney at a highly reputable law firm. 

Regan Swann

  • Graduated from Holy Trinity in 2014.
  • Attended St. John’s College High School with a music scholarship (Saxophone). She remained an accomplished pianist throughout her high school years. Upon graduating from SJC, Regan received the Louis Armstrong Jazz Award and three Outstanding Soloist awards.
  • Regan is currently attending Hampton University, where she received a Merit scholarship and Band scholarship. She had earned her place in the Marching Force.

Will Swann

  • Graduated from Holy Trinity in 2018.
  • He received a music scholarship with his second instrument, saxophone (his first being, piano), at St. John’s High School as well. In addition, to being invited, as a Freshman, to the Competition Jazz Band, he is also a member of the Wind Ensemble, Swing Band, and Regimental Band. Will plays basketball for SJC, while maintaining a 4.0 GPA.

Jordan Colquitt

  • Graduated from Holy Trinity in 2009. During his time at HT, it was clear  Jordan had tremendous musical potential.
  • Attended high school at Archbishop Spalding. He was an active member of their Wind and Jazz ensemble, while still excelling in academics.
  • Attended Peabody Conservatory,  completing his Bachelor’s of Music Performance in classical guitar.  Along the way, he has been able to play trumpet with the Peabody Jazz Ensemble as an elective all four years.  He will continue at Peabody, pursuing a Master’s in Music Performance.

Breana Ross

  • Graduated from Holy Trinity in 2011
  • Attended Bishop McNamara High School. She was a member of the Wind Ensemble and Jazz Ensemble, active in student government as the Public Relations Officer and Student Body Liaison, member of Life Information For Teens Club and a Peer Minister and lead Kairos, a spiritual retreat for juniors.  She  was also a staff writer for the school newspaper and an anchor for WMAC, the school TV broadcast.  Breana was a regular volunteer at the Shepherd’s Cove Homeless Shelter Daycare and as a Counselor’s Aide at the Camp Fire USA Patuxent. 
  • College and major and highlights – she received a full tuition scholarship to the University of Miami, double majoring in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science with a minor in African Studies.  She is heavily involved with UMTV, the school’s award-winning television station and has internship experiences with ESPN3, Smithsonian Channel, WETA, and the National Basketball Association respectively.
  • Breana  founded her own service organization, Written in My Soul, which is now an official service program designed to teach youth from low socioeconomic backgrounds. She studied abroad in and shared her perspectives as an American in South Africa in the University of Cape Town’s newspaper.
  • Breana has been involved with the Standing Committee on Diversity and Inclusion Black Student Concerns Working Group, the Black Student Leaders Coalition, the T Howard Foundation Campus Ambassador Program, the Inspire U Mentoring Program Leadership Team, has been a Facilitator for the IMPACT Leadership retreat at UM and a member of the Toppel Career Center Advisory Board. She has been chosen to give a TED Talk about her experiences with service and was tapped into the Iron Arrow Society and was named Global Citizen of the Year by IES Abroad.
 

Taylor Beverly

  • Graduated from HT in 2015
  • Attends Eleanor Roosevelt High School (Science & Tech)
  • Won the Senior Science Fair in her category

Alyssa Patterson

  • Graduated from Holy Trinity in 2009.
  • After HT, Alyssa attended Roosevelt High School (Science and Tech Program).
  • As a recipient of the Banneker Key scholarship, Alyssa majored in Chemistry at UMD.
  • She has traveled with a volunteer team to Honduras where she studied global health and promoted preventive oral care to the underprivileged.
  • Alyssa is working on her D.D.S. from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine as well as  Masters of Arts in Science and Dental Education from Teachers College.

Tabon Ward

  • Tabon became a member of the HT community as a preschooler and graduated in 2012. He was an active participant of the drama program and as an eighth grader portrayed Daddy Warbucks in the HT performance of “Annie”.
  • He continued to thrive in performance arts during his time at Bishop McNamara High School.
  • Tabon is majoring in Popular Music Performance at a west coast school
  • His current accomplishments include being a back up singer for Good Charlotte in the James Corden Late Night Show and the release of his cover song of With You

Sydni Williams

  • Sydni started at HT as a little preschooler and graduated in 2009.
  • She attended St. John’s College High School
  • At Wake Forest, Sydni graduated in 2017 with a degree in Communication and a minor in Statistics. In her time at Wake, she co-hosted a weekly radio show featuring special guests and highlighting the latest news on campus.
  • Early in her career, Sydni joined SunTrust Bank in Atlanta, GA as a development analyst in their Corporate Functions Development Program. Recently she had a major career boost when Google hired her to be their Staffing Channels Specialist.

Morgan Pitts

  • Enrolled in HT in grade 6 and graduated in 2005
  • Attended Bishop McNamara High School
  • Majored in Business Marketing from Univ. of Maryland (College Park)
  • Currently Morgan is an eCommerce Sales Specialist at a high-end store

Shaan Singh

  • Joined HT in the 4th grade and graduated in 2013
  • Attended Eleanor Roosevelt High School (Science and Tech). He founded the company Blue Cocoa, Inc. in the summer of 2014 when he was fifteen years old. He works with a multitude of coding languages and platforms as he explores the possibilities of artificial intelligence and computer vision in medicine and consumer technology. He started studying Objective-C books and ended up releasing two apps to the App Store. In 2014 and 2015, he won an international scholarship from Apple for his iOS skills. During his high school tenure, Shaan researched a way to diagnose autism with machine learning at the University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins Medicine.
  • Shaan is thriving in college, majoring in Computer Science Honors (mind, brain, and behavior track)

Alicia Briscoe

  • Joined HT in 5th grade and graduated in 2010
  • Went to St. John’s College High School
  • Graduated from University of Maryland, General Biology in 2018
  • Currently a D1 in a dental school

Jordan Taylor

  • Started at HT in 5th grade and graduated in 2008
  • Attended Bishop McNamara HS
  • Went to Clemson University and graduated with a B.A. in Performing Arts with a Music Concentration
  • Currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Choral Conducting.
  • Jordan is a Resident Member of the Opera Carolina Opera Chorus and Member and Featured Soloist of the Charlotte Master Chorale.

Leena Zarro

  • Started at HT in kindergarten and graduated in 2009
  • Attended Roosevelt High School (Science and Tech Program); received achievements award from Society of Women Engineers
  • Majored in Health Care Management and Minored in Business from Towson.
  • Leena was selected to intern for the Executive team at Medstar and also received an award for academic excellence from the College of Health Professionals.
  • Currently works as a Health Care Analyst as well as working towards a Masters in Information Systems

Rohini Bahethi

  • Enrolled at HT in Kindergarten and graduated in 2009
  • Attended Severna Park High School where she also ran track
  • Received majors in Biology and Chemistry and a minor in Music from UNC.
  • In college, she joined a medical and dental team who volunteered to treat the underprivileged in Nicaragua
  • As a recipient of the DAAD-RISE scholarship, Rohini also found time to carry out research in adenocarcinoma in a research lab in Dusseldorf (Germany) and was selected to present her studies at a prestigious conference.
  • Rohini received her medical degree from Mt. Sinai medical school and helps in a free clinic, medical research and serves as a mentor to some middle school girls.

Haley Paskalides

  • Started at HT in Kindergarten and graduated in 2005
  • Attended South River High School
  • Majored in Communication Studies and Journalism from UNC (Wilmington)
  • Currently works as an Assistant Editor for a publishing company

Laura Thomas

  • Started in preschool at HT and graduated in 2004
  • Attended St. Mary’s High School
  • Received a degree in Community Health Education from University of North Carolina (Wilmington) and has a Masters of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Meredith College
  • Currently Laura spends time as a Fitness Dietitian + Coach as well as a college Football Sports Nutrition Intern

Stephanie Brashears

  • Attended preschool in HT and graduated in 2004
  • Attended Severna Park High School
  • Received Nursing degree from AACC
  • Currently a Rapid Response Team and ICU Nurse

Meghan Bryant

  • Enrolled in HT in kindergarten and graduated in 2010
