The Explorers (PK4) completed their annual trash walk. Carrying paper bags that they decorated themselves, the Explorer students walked the entire Daisy Lane campus, from The Daisy Lane School parking lot to the Reiber Center, picking up trash. They ended their day by sharing with the entire division ways that we can all do our part to keep our Earth clean. We can recycle, pick up trash, turn off lights and water when they are not being used, and not be litter bugs.Lastly, our Kindergarteners completed a two-fold service project. The oldest scholars in Daisy Lane used recycled paper and biodegradable materials to make cards for members of a local VFW. They used Earth Day as an opportunity to thank some of our veterans for their service. Go #Hawks! #HawkPride#TheBestYou#thedaisylaneschool#EarthDay... See MoreSee Less
