2006-2007 was a time of new growth for the Holy Trinity Annual Fund for Excellence. Parents, teachers, alumni, grandparents, and other friends of Holy Trinity gave a total of $100,076.96.
Holy Trinity provides a value-added education. The vitality of an independent school lies in its daily, monthly and yearly operations. Unrestricted financial support allows for timely funding of immediate priorities. Our annual fund report discusses the school’s needs and how the annual fund covers other expenses and continues to help Holy Trinity grow.
This year we are setting a highly ambitious goal of 70% participation from current families. This level of participation is important; it is worthwhile and achievable and will reflect the level of community spirit and support of the Holy Trinity mission and values. Higher levels of participation will enable the school to request support from foundations. (The higher the participation percentage, the stronger the case for support when applying for corporate or foundation grants. These sources require us to prove that we believe and are invested in Holy Trinity Episcopal Day School.)
We would like the Holy Trinity community to make the “Annual Fund for Excellence” the top recipient of our charitable giving. We thank you in advance for your support and generosity as we continue to grow our Annual Fund during the 2007-2008 year.
Some of the positive outcomes of the Annual Fund for Excellence:
Academic and Enrichment School Programs: The Annual Fund for Excellence helps meet technology needs, fund field trips and class speakers, support the development of new curriculum, and enable the hallmarks of Holy Trinity’s excellent programs.
Faculty and Staff Professional Development: The Annual Fund for Excellence affords our teachers a variety of opportunities to attend conferences and workshops, fueling a commitment to lifelong learning and bringing continued innovation to the classroom.
Athletic and Performing Arts Program: The Annual Fund for Excellence is the financial foundation helping Holy Trinity build a state-of-the-art Gym/Performing Arts Center to showcase the gifts and talents of our students.
After-School Enrichment Programs: The Annual Fund for Excellence allows Holy Trinity to contribute to the growth of students outside of the classroom by offering such programs as drama, dance, team sports, and other special after-school activities.
Parents, alumni, faculty and staff, parents of alumni, grandparents and friends have established a tradition of reaching above and going beyond to meet these critical needs by supporting the Fund for Excellence. As participation continues to increase each year, it is a testament to the commitment of our community and the quality of our programs.
