In the spirit of family and community, it has become an HTSA tradition to welcome parents back to both campuses of HT with coffee and pastries on the first day of school. We invite all parents to the Lower School campus and the Middle/Preschool campus for free coffee and other refreshments from 8:15-9:15 am on Wed. Aug. 26, 2009. Those on their way to work are welcome to pull over from carline, briefly jump out to say hello, get coffee (or juice) and a pastry, and be on their way! All are welcome to stay a while and get to know fellow parents and HTSA Board members.

The HTSA, of which you are a member simply by being a parent, grandparent, or family member of an HT student, has as its overall purpose to support the educational, social, and spiritual development of our children. We are grateful to serve you as HTSA Board members, and could not be more thrilled to open this school year with the firm committment to making this year eventful, engaging, and extraordinary for the school community. To meet this purpose, we HTSA Board members work diligently and in concert with parents and school faculty and staff to organize fundraisers and chair events that help serve our children. Information on our events are listed on the web site and will be announced in the school newsletters. We are looking forward to these events and encourage your participation. (Please be mindful that the dates and times are subject to change as the year progresses.)
