Mission
The mission of Holy Trinity Episcopal Day School is to provide a comprehensive educational foundation within a setting where self-confidence, moral development, and an acceptance of personal differences among individuals in the school are fostered.
School Philosophy
Holy Trinity Episcopal Day School strives to provide a comprehensive education to its students in an atmosphere that is purposeful, focused within a framework which emphasizes the growth of each child as a whole person. This framework is represented by the school symbol, the triangle of Faith, Arts, and Knowledge. Working with an inner core of parent, teacher, and child, this interwoven triangle combines to foster academic excellence as well as self-confidence, character, and respect for self and others.
Faith
The school values its association with the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. The Episcopal heritage is one of openness and delight in the diversity of God’s creation. Our school welcomes children of all backgrounds and promotes high moral standards.
Arts
Creativity in the Arts is fostered through both classwork and extra-curricular activities. Preschool through eighth grade students attend art and music classes. All Middle School students play an instrument and actively participate in at least one band. The drama program affords students yet another outlet for their talents.
Knowledge
We encourage our students to secure the skills needed for learning and managing information. An extensive foreign language program enriches the core curriculum of math, science, social studies, reading, and language arts. Writing is emphasized for all ages throughout our curriculum.
In this productive and caring environment, Holy Trinity attempts to provide our students with Roots to Grow, Wings to Fly.
